So have you recently seen Shark Tank? If so, you may have seen Susan Petersen on it from Freshly Picked Moccasins. After her second baby was born, she was on a mission to make a durable, well-made shoe, and ones that would stay on a baby's foot.
From starting off working with scrap leather from a yard sale at her kitchen table and trying out different designs, she has created adorable moccasins, that not only look so sweet on a kid's foot, but stay on as well. She is a true entrepreneur that convinced her brother who owns an window installation business to give her the old windows. She banged out the glass and at the end of one summer, recycled all the aluminum for $200 to start the business.
The moccasins have been featured in US Weekly, People, Parenting Magazine, to name a few magazines and have been spotted on celebrity kiddos's tiny feet like Kourtney Kardashian and Jaime King.
