I heart fall & scarves...visit Kim's shop and a chance to win a scarf!

Hi friends!  I am Kim and I blog over at Singledou[b]t. I'd love for you to stop by sometime.

Thank you, Stephanie, for having me at Slogan Adventures today! I am so excited for you guys! I hope you are enjoying your time with your new little baby! I can't wait to see pictures.

Are you guys loving fall so far?  I know I am.  I have been apple picking, made some lovely fall recipes, and now live in my boots.

On top of all of that, I have been a knitting machine the last 2 weeks. I have knit about 6 cowls & infinity scarves in the last 2 weeks alone.  I wish one of them were for me.  One of these days I will make one for myself.

The great thing about cowls and infinity scarves is that you can wear them without wearing heavy winter jackets.  They can keep you warm without wearing bulky layers.

I typically knit an infinity scarf or a regular cowl using a soft, warm yarn.  They are super versatile, allowing for people to wear them in several different ways.

On top of being cozy and warm, they are easy to make too.  If you knit at all then you can make these amazingly soft and cozy cowls.  I use Charisma Yarn by Loops & Threads.  I typically use a pattern of knit 3 purl 1 using size 15 circular needles.  For a long infinity scarf, knit 100 or 104 stitches around.  You can adjust the size just make sure you use multiples of 4.  For those who don't knit, I am really sorry if I just bored you :) but I will make it up to you.

Here are some of the ones I have done so far.

Don't those look warm and cozy?  They are! I promise!

Check out my Etsy Shop if you are interested in buying one.  For all of Stephanie's followers, you'll receive 20% off your cowl or infinity scarf order for the next 2 weeks.
Use the code: SLOGANS to get 20% off.

I thought, because I love Stephanie and her sweet followers, I would give away one of my infinity scarves.

Thanks again Stephanie for having me!
