I will admit I totally get sucked into celebrity gossip and read perez hilton and yes, I have a magazine subscription to US weekly. It's like my escape and guilty pleasure to sit with a gossip mag and shut out the rest of the world for a few minutes and check out all the news and fashions that people wore. With that said of course I watch E! News with Guiliana Rancic and I really admire her on a personal level with her positive attitude with her battle with breast cancer and trying to get pregnant. Once I saw that she and her husband Bill opened a restaurant here in Chicago, I knew I had to check it out before our time in Chicago is up, plus I love me some good italian food. It's one popular restaurant! You basically can only get a table at 4:00-4:30 or midnight every night! I came across a reservation for July 3rd at 10pm so I snagged it. It was packed there and beautiful! Pretty good food, not anymore expensive than the rest of the restaurants in the River North area of Chicago and it was a beautiful restaurant. If you check it out in Chicago, PLAN AHEAD and book ahead of time on Open table. you can access it through the restaurant website:

One of my favorite things...truffled garlic bread. We started eating it before we could take a pic! whoops. |
|
Fried Olives with fresh mozzarella and sausage- DELICIOUS |
|
Provolone stuffed peppers, they are small bites but definitely good for up to 3 or more people |
|
Hubs Dinner- spicy king crab with squid ink spaghetti |
|
My friend Lisa's Dinner- Mama DePandi's Bucatini Pomodoro and a side of meatballs (they were very light and flavorful) |
|
My dinner- Maine Lobster Ravioli with Spinach Pasta, Lemon, Chili. Was pretty good and the right amount of ravioli.

Last but not least DESSERT
Tarfuto- Hazelnut Gelato, chocolate shell and a chocolate center. SOOO GOOD and creamy. it was like a ginormous Ferrero Rocher . Can easily be split between 4 people.
Hope everyone has a great monday!

How fun is that?! I follow Guiliana on Twitter and watch their show and always hear about their restaurant! So cool that you got to check it out! Thanks for linking up with us ;)
We were hoping she was going to be there with the holiday and everything but earlier that day she tweeted a pic from paris :( It was a nice place to check out. Thanks for checking out my post!
This dinner looks super yummy. And how cool are you...going out to a swanky restaurant at 10:00. Sounds fun.
I actually stayed out with my husband and non pregnant friend, I drank shirley temple's and thought I was a chic mom haha.
Yum! Everything looks so beautiful and tasty. Personally the provolone stuffed peppers sound best to me - YUM! and of course..the dessert, but that's a given aha.
